My friends who are currently using Anki : Gilles, Tony, Regis, JB
I Personnally use Anki to remember :
I do not use pre-built decks, except for geography
I strongly suggest to learn only a few new cards every day, and really do it every day. This is to make sure your daily load won’t push you to give up anki. The key to get the best from anki is perseverance! Personally I learn 20 new cards per day. My daily load is around 120 cards per day, which takes me about 30 minutes to review every morning.
I created special models called “Enumeration” to be able to input ordered lists of words and remember them easily with Anki. This is particularly useful for learning lyrics.
Have a try! I have uploaded a shared desk in anki. Just go to File > Download > Shared Deck, and search for “song” you will find it.
Currently it contains the lyrics of a few songs, including with or without you from U2
If you already use Anki for a few weeks, you will for sure have some difficulties. This is normal, because in fact formulating knowledge into easy to remember questions/answers is not so easy...
Save your time, just read this page about the 20 most common mistakes you will do! I did most of them, and learn a lot every day I reread this page.
